Guys.....Take Notes

by Andrew B.
You may not be Mr. Bruce Spruce, but as Albert Camus said, “Alas, after a certain age every man is responsible for his face (his presentation).” Guys: When you conquer your insecurities, J.Crew would be an ideal holiday destination for those who would like to try a more urbane look.
As boys become men, they must learn how to groom themselves. Boys totter to their college interviews in oversized Quicksilver hoodies and baggy jeans without thinking to run a comb across their head; Men glide anywhere with utter confidence in fitted clothing that are on a different plane of sophistication than a Billabong tee-shirt.
Men often refrain from shopping or displaying a slight sign of intrigue for clothes because this activity is such an exclusive activity for women in our culture—the American culture.
Many men cannot sacrifice their time for haute couture. The most conservative and smart road for the Average Joe is narrowing it down to a clean, fitted 50’s preppy New Englander look. This means slacks (not jeans), collared long-sleeve shirts (sleeves rolled up), and don’t forget – the Sperry Topsiders. J.Crew has all of this.
Their winter collection for men ranges from chic military-grade jackets to the best price-to-look ratio dress shirts. One attractive, yet subtle, attribute to most of their collection is their buttons. Their buttons have a cherry-oak-like pattern that compliments the shirts colors and fabrics to yield a rustic vibe.
Dapper Dans and Average Joes alike pay a visit to this amazing store.
